WOW! What an awesome shopping day! 8/28/10

Yesterday was a GREAT shopping day.

I had $40 + the change in my purse to spend and was really FREAKING out about not having enough. HA

Here is how I used the money.

First Abigayle and I went to a thrift store that is going out of business and everything is 50% off.

We walked in and a lady waved her over to a free table and gave her a brown bag and told her to fill it up. We picked out toys for the other kids, some wood craft stuff to do, puzzles, cloth bags, purses, etc.

Then we went shopping. They were having a special of fill a small box of books for $1!!! We got 3 boxes, a couple mirrors and some cups (they are always disappearing for some strange reason HA). I think that was it...anyways we spent $5 and some change. Next stop was Walgreens. Here is my receipt:

So I am not a beginner when it comes to using coupons but I've decided to TRY (keyword try) to post about my "good deals". I have been a HEAVY couponer for years. I've been posting "notes" on Facebook about my shopping excursions but I think this might be more "user friendly". Hope you enjoy reading. :)
